Madison is celebrating its 16th year this year.   Our event is always held on Lake Mendota.   We operate out of Governor Nelson State Park.   We serve 100 participants each day, Saturday and Sunday. Our event is always the weekend after the 4th of July.   This year it is the 10th and 11th. Besides the 100 participants, we have around 300 support staff and volunteers of all kinds.  On Saturday we cook breakfast, serve box lunch, and serve a complete dinner buffet for the entire group!   That’s a lot of food! Sunday is breakfast and lunch.   Probably the two biggest areas of concern for the event are the food and all of the related duties that go into serving 400 people, and having enough boats to take 100 participants and their fishing assistants out fishing.   We are in need of volunteers on a continuing basis.  The duties for volunteers are very diverse, and I am confident we can find something for almost anyone to do.   We are also in desperate need of several more pontoon boats for the event. and as always, I am looking for donations and more corporate sponsors.   As the General Chaiman for the organization,  I have also agreed to take on the responsibility of “fund-raising” along with my wife Kerri.   Kerri is also a vital part of the organization. Her duties involve the “cook tent” and getting the food secured and delivered for the event. Then she helps oversee the operation of the food service at the event.   I know she has a fair number of her volunteers stepping down after this event, so she needs new recruits now! These home building classes are held regularly to answer the many questions you have about the building process.  They are informal, non-scripted question and answer session.  Just like all the J Campbell Signatures Homes built, two homes are never the same!

I limit each class to 6 people, they last approximatley 2 hours and are a ton of fun.  These are NON-SELLING seminars so there will be no pressure to buy or build.  We feel that when you are ready to build a home, you will be more prepared and you will come looking for us!
